MARCHING BAND UNIFORM SIZING

Volunteers needed to size/fit students into Marching Band Uniforms with no experience needed, and to help label individual school owned items.  

Feel free to come for the entire time slot or just an hour.  Many extra hands are required to get entire band dressed and ready.  

Day and evening time slots are available.

BAND CAMP SHOWCASE & COOKOUT

At this event we will provide important info for the season, eat some delicious food, spend some good social time as a band community, AND enjoy a performance of the work the students will have done during Band Camp. Hot dogs, hamburgers, and beverages will be provided but we need YOU to help with the rest! Please sign up to donate items that you can bring promptly at 5pm that day. Dinner will start at 5:30pm and we will finish up by 7pm!

BAND CHAPERONES

Chaperones help with the following:

• Ensure the safety and well-being of the band

• Ensure the band and the directors and/or staff have the equipment they need when and where they need it

• Load and unload the band trailer

• Supervise appropriate behavior on the buses for away games

• Put band aids on boo-boos and ice packs on bumps and bruises

3RD QUARTER HOSPITALITY

Volunteers needed to feed both the HOME (Rocky River Band) and the away band during the 3rd quarter of the football game.  Go to the maroon tent on the visitor's side of the field 15 minutes before half time.  At the beginning of the 3rd quarter of the game, the visitor's band will eat first, then Rocky River band students will eat.  Help clean up the food, drinks and the tent during the 4th quarter of the football game.

VISITOR'S CONCESSION STAND DURING HOME GAMES

The Marching Band parents staff the Visitor's Concession stand at RRHS during varsity football HOME games from  6:30pm until the end of the game.  Parents will be relieved during the halftime performance, so they can watch the show.
